The New Zealand Government has announced that, from 18 August 2025, ten trades occupations will be added to Tier 2 of the Green List, opening up new opportunities under the Work to Residence visa category.
This development is part of the Government’s ongoing efforts to address skill shortages and support long-term workforce needs across key industries.

- Pressure Welder
- Welder
- Panel Beater
