Did you know that if you have been living with your Kiwi partner for 5+ years, outside of NZ, you may be able to get a New Zealand Permanent Resident Visa?
Having NZ permanent residence means you can move to New Zealand whenever you wish, for any length of time.
Giving you the flexibility to choose when (and if) you move to NZ.
As a licensed immigration adviser (and New Zealand Permanent Resident Visa holder myself) I can provide expert, and personalised help, with getting a Partner of a New Zealander Permanent Resident Visa.
For £1950 you will get:
• a dedicated UK-based licensed immigration adviser
• an Eligibility Assessment Report and Document Check List – your personalised roadmap to get a visa
• your documents checked thoroughly to ensure they meet NZ immigration instructions
• your visa application form and cover letter prepared and submitted for you
• liaison with Immigration New Zealand on your behalf throughout the process
And someone to support you from start to finish!
Usually you will need to spend at least 2 years on a Resident Visa in New Zealand, before you are eligible to apply for a New Zealand Permanent Resident Visa, so this is a great opportunity for the partners of Kiwis, if you meet the criteria.
There are a number of requirements specific to a Partner of a New Zealander Permanent Resident Visa that you will need to meet:
- The supporting partner must be a New Zealand citizen, rather than a resident
- You must have lived together for at least five years outside of New Zealand
- Your partner must still be overseas when you apply (or have been back in New Zealand for less than 3 months)
- They must have spent less than three months per year in New Zealand in the five years prior to applying
- You must also both be aged 18 years or older, and can only count evidence of your relationship that you have gathered after both turning 18. This effectively means that you will both need to be aged 23 as a minimum when you apply for a Partner Permanent Resident Visa.
The eligibility criteria for this pathway are specific, and the details of your circumstances will impact whether you qualify. I can assess whether this route may be available to you and guide you on what evidence will be needed to establish your eligibility.
